    I like the idea of “swirly.” My mind sometimes feels like there’s a tornado or two zinging around in there and writing helps keep my ears from slapping each other.

    I hope you don’t mind my poking about a bit. Don’t wish to wake you, but wanted to peek in and see a little about you.

      The whooshing and the roar sometimes! Not to mention the crunching, crackling and tinkling. Poke around, but leave it the way you found it! :)

        Which would explain why I know look more like a Chris Farley ninja than a Bruce Lee ninja.

        Also would explain the buzzing in my ears……mmmmmm….sugar rush!

        I am happy to be able to say that I am “from” Arizona…I so much prefer living near the cool mountains of Utah. While the desert itself can be beautiful, I found it to be too warm for my soul. My wife shares your desire to move back, though…. I am looking forward to reading more of your story. :)

      I listen to the readers too…I go through periods where I can write a poem a day…but now I’m into photography..lol. Who knows what my mind will do. Thanks for stopping by.

      It’s supposed to be ironic because I am sometimes too tender hearted. And I have a habit when someone says “promise?” or saying “Cross my cold dead heart.” Seemed like a good name for a blog ..lol :) Thanks for stopping by!

    Thanks for reading and responding to The Bone-Pickers. I don’t consider myself a poet, but that one had to be birthed. Not the best time of my life.

    Most of the other poetry is from the April National Poetry Month challenge.

    Working on a novel (aren’t we all?) and have been sidetracked by NPM, and a group of short stories a bit on the weird side. Trying now to tie Harvey Meeks’ Crawl Space and
    The Learning Curve together with one titled The Circadae, which I hope to complete this weekend.
