Out There

28 Dec

The vague promise

of things to come

or maybe not

The whiff of potential

of what could be

Reaching out

but not really

On the edge

Seeing each other like a Monet painting

The entirety from afar

Sublime

But up close

All the strokes that make us who we are

Can we withstand the scrutiny?

    “Can we withstand the scrutiny?”

If you can look in a mirror and smile with genuine warmth at the person looking back at you…yes. (And, if you do, you’ll also discover that you’ll have made a friend for life!) ūüėČ

Thanks for reading and the comment, it’s true about the person is the mirror is the one you need to please the most.
