Isn’t it ridiculous..how hard is it to throw things away? lol

Ahhhh…the rare and elusive Bud Light Vine. They may taste weak, but they seem to be becoming more and more prevalent. Where this vine is abundant, one will also find the Unconscious College Student and or many of their accoutrements and various articles of clothing.

    • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 11:02 am #

LOL…yes, I was worried about what else I might find there 🙂

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 12:51 pm #

        Depending on the crowd……well, I won’t go there. 😉

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 1:22 pm #

        Gross..lol

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 1:40 pm #

You could have a yard sale with the bits of clothing left about. But it might be better if you just burned it.

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 1:47 pm #

I wonder what was going on there…geez.

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 1:59 pm #

Were the Grateful Dead in town?

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 2:09 pm #

Maybe Phish…gee, how old are you? LOL

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 2:13 pm #

I remember when dirt was invented. Never thought it would catch on. Should have invested then.

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 2:14 pm #

        LOL…and the wheel…missed that opportunity.

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 2:23 pm #

Ah the wheel! And here I bought the collapse policy on the pyramids. Damn! I’m just full of bad investments.

I have MUCH better hair! And MUCH less money.

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 3:48 pm #

Okay the hair isn’t saying much.

      • Nowan Zen April 10, 2012 at 3:53 pm #

        True, but I don’t have a comb-over or comb-around. 🙂

    • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 11:39 am #

Thanks so much..and again, I threw the bottle away in the trash..lol. I didn’t just leave litter there.

Lovely and witty title for a sad, selfish destructive act. The picture really highlights the devastation caused when humans act with no regard for their surroundings.

    • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 11:54 am #

For some reason, more than a lot of things, litter really irritates me. Because it really is the simplest of things NOT to do. Yet, every day I see the evidence of it..and it’s aggravating. Thanks for the comment..and here’s to cleaning up after other people 🙂

This picture has great detail. The brown leaf with the veins of the leaf in full view with its wonderful outlined structure that once provided nutrients to every single part of the leaf and now dead, because it has been separated from the branch in which it has fallen. The green leafs providing a colorful backdrop and the schism we find in the bottle thrown from its proper place which should have been the recycle bin. This picture captures life, waste, and death.

    • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 2:36 pm #

Thanks so much. I thought it did too. I was walking enjoying all the new Spring blossoms and I was so disappointed. But there’s the juxtaposition of dead leaves and new leaves and waste.

This is so brilliant in its humor and sadness. Photos are so powerful and you really nailed this one!

    • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 3:49 pm #

Thanks so much! Isn’t it ridiculous. Us humans and our disregard for the world around us…sigh.

      • The Blissful Adventurer April 10, 2012 at 3:57 pm #

litter is one of the fastest ways to see me sad

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 4:02 pm #

For me it’s because it really is the most preventable of all things we do to this Earth. Throw your trash in recycle or a bin! It’s easy!

      • The Blissful Adventurer April 10, 2012 at 4:04 pm #

very, it is amazing how bad the litter can be in Southern Italy. It makes me so sad every time I am there. One of the most beautiful places one earth strewn with preventable refuse.

      • Cold Dead Heart April 10, 2012 at 4:16 pm #

I remember when I went to Rome, I was totally shocked by the litter.

Maybe they were trying to use the beer as fertilizer when they realized how crappy it tasted…

  10. K. Ryan Henisey April 11, 2012 at 9:51 pm #

  11. marjnhomer April 14, 2012 at 11:24 am #

    • Cold Dead Heart April 14, 2012 at 1:15 pm #

Me either..and it saddened me when I was just out looking at nature and enjoying it.
